Campus Event Announcements

On March 14th, 11 RHS students competed at the Oregon Music Educators Association District Solo & Ensemble Contest and represented our school incredibly well! Congratulations to the following students for advancing to the State Competition:
Reagan Pelke, Annie Wilson, Will Brock, and Vocal Fusion for earning 1st place, and Lucy Baldwin and Elian Martinez as First Alternates. Congrats to these choir students on their outstanding achievements!

On Wednesday, April 1st, RHS Choirs will be hosting a Chipotle fundraiser to support our Seattle field trip. A portion of all food sales during the event will go directly to the choir program. Make sure to go from 5:00–9:00 PM. See Mr. Ludwig for details on how to get a QR code or pick up a flyer.

Are you interested in participating in the leadership program at RHS? Are you the type of student who wants to be involved, work hard, and help build a positive culture on campus? If so, pick up a Leadership application starting this Wednesday April 1st (no joke!) in front of room M-101. Applications will be due April 17th so, don’t wait because there are questions to fill out and teacher recommendations to gather. Applications will not be accepted after the April 17th deadline.

Why Being On-time Matters

Students who drive themselves and families that bring students to school, please know that arriving at school on time is absolutely essential for numerous reasons. Firstly, it instills a sense of responsibility and discipline, both vital for success in academic and future professional endeavors. Punctuality enables students to make the most of learning opportunities, ensuring they do not miss important instructions or discussions at the beginning of class. Being on time also minimizes disruptions for both the teacher and fellow classmates, thus contributing to a more focused and productive learning environment. Furthermore, consistent punctuality nurtures positive habits, displays respect for others' time, and helps students build valuable time management skills that will benefit them throughout their lives.

VISITOR MANAGEMENT

We use the Raptor Visitor Management System to monitor individuals in our buildings and on our campuses. By requiring a photo ID and screening all visitors, the Raptor system helps us ensure that only authorized individuals are on our campuses, thereby protecting our students and staff. This process is a foundational element of our daily operations that allows us to maintain a secure and predictable learning environment for all students
  • All visitors must provide a photo ID to check in. If you do not have a photo ID, our staff will guide you through an alternate check-in process.
  • Our staff will enter your ID into our Visitor Management System. The system will instantly screen for sex offenders and banned visitors.
  • At check-in, visitors will receive a name badge to wear while they are on campus.
  • All visitors will need to check out at the front office when they leave the school.
