Hanna Family Foundation Scholarship

This scholarship is open to any graduating Roseburg High School senior who plans to pursue post-secondary education or vocational training.  Must have a minimum GPA of 2.75.  Scholarship amounts vary.

Jim and Char Loomis Memorial Scholarship

One scholarship of $500 will be awarded to a graduating senior from Roseburg High School.  The award may be used at the college, university, or community college of the recipient’s choice.  Selection will be based on academic achievement; support and participation in activities in school, work, and community; and leadership, loyalty, and dedication throughout individual and organization opportunities.  Request an application from Mrs.  Hines

Roseburg Rotary Club Scholarships

Seven scholarship awards up to $1,500 for graduating seniors.  Three are for UCC and three are for any 4-year accredited college or university.  Three need-based scholarship will be awarded to the school of the student’s choice.   UCC bound students need a 3.0 GPA and 4-year bound students need to have 3.5 GPA to apply for these scholarships.  Pick-up an application in the Career Center.

Roseburg High School LGBTQ+ and Allies Recognition Scholarship

This scholarship honors the contributions of LGBTQ+ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer and Questioning) students at Roseburg High School, including students who are allies to the LGBTQ+ community. Through this scholarship, LGBTQ+ and ally youth can apply for a $2000 scholarship to pay for education-related expenses to pursue a degree from an accredited college, university, or technical/vocational program.

Oregon Jewish Community Foundation

Rogue Credit Union Douglas County Scholarship

$1,500 scholarship to a graduating Douglas County graduating senior.  Must be attending an accredited college or university in the United States.  Must have a 3.0 GPA to apply.  Selection based on academics, school activities, and community involvement.  For an application go to:  https://www.roguecu.org/community/scholarships

Friends of NRA Scholarship

Up to (15) $1,000 scholarships for graduating seniors who have a 3.0 GPA or higher.  Selection criteria include participation in extracurricular, volunteer, and shooting sports activities.  Stop by the Career Center and pick-up an application.

Oregon State Sheriff’s’ Association

OSSA awards multiple scholarships annually to Oregon high school seniors or current college students who attend a two-year or four-year institution and plan to pursue a career in law enforcement. Chapter BI Oregon P.E.O. Scholarship

For women, US Citizens with 3.0 GPA or higher.  The award may be used at the college, university or community college of the recipient’s choice.  Award ranges from $2000-$2500

Bodecker Foundation Scholarships

Three $1,000 scholarships for Douglas County seniors that plan on attending college or a trade school.  Selection criteria include a 2.5 or better GPA and involvement in school and community activities.  Pick-up an application in the Career Center

$1,000 scholarships for graduating Roseburg High School seniors.  Must be attending an Oregon college or Vocational training.  Selection criteria include academic record, need, and ultimate college goals.  Pick-up an application in the Career Center or see attachment.

Lions Club – The Gregory’s & Hobbs’ Scholarship

$1,000 scholarship for a graduating Roseburg High School senior.  Selection criteria include academic achievement, financial need, and overall contribution to school and community as well as future goals.  Pick-up an application in the Career Center or see attachment.

Kahn Family Scholarship

A $2,500 scholarship for a graduating Roseburg High School senior pursuing college or vocational education.  Selection based on helping your community, work experience, essay responses, and letters or recommendation.  Pick up an application in the Career Center or see attached.

Oregon Jaycee Foundation

Up to $10,000 in scholarships for graduating Oregon high school seniors.  Must have a 3.75 GPA.  Selection criteria include academic excellence, personal accomplishments, leadership qualities, and community service.  Pick-up an application in the Career Center.

Sutherlin Throw Down Scholarships

$20,000 in scholarship monies for students pursuing a field of study in the trades. Eligible students must be Douglas County residents and committed to attending a trade program in the 2024/25 school year.  Check for an application in the attachments or pick one up in the Career Center.

Josh Bidwell Foundation Scholarships

Pick-up an application for these scholarships in the Career Center.

General Scholarship – A $10,000 award to a graduating Douglas County senior.  Must have a 3.5 GPA.  Special consideration given to applicants whose immediate family have been affected by cancer. 

Athletic Scholarship – A $5,000 award given to a graduating Douglas County varsity athlete that lettered in one or more sports.  Must have a 3.5 GPA to apply.

Oregon Small Woodland Association

The Douglas Small Woodlands Association is awarding a $1000 scholarship for educational costs for any students pursing a major in forestry or natural resources.
