Douglas Timber Operators Scholarship

Three $2500 scholarships will be awarded to students who have the intention to major in a natural resources related field. See attachment for more information and the applications.

Oregon Jaycee Foundation

Up to $10,000 in scholarships for graduating Oregon high school seniors.  Must have a 3.75 GPA.  Selection criteria include academic excellence, personal accomplishments, leadership qualities, and community service.  Pick-up an application in the Career Center

Josh Bidwell Foundation Scholarships

Pick-up an application for these scholarships in the Career Center or see the attachments.

General Scholarship – A $5,000 award to a graduating Douglas County senior.  Must have a 3.5 GPA.  Special consideration given to applicants whose immediate family have been affected by cancer.

Athletic Scholarship – A $2,500 award given to a graduating Douglas County varsity athlete that lettered in one or more sports.  Must have a 3.5 GPA to apply.

Roseburg Rotary Club Scholarships

Seven scholarship awards up to $1,500 for graduating seniors.  Three are for UCC and three are for any 4-year accredited college or university.  One need-based scholarship will be awarded to the school of the student’s choice.   UCC bound students need a 3.0 GPA and 4-year bound students need to have 3.5 GPA to apply for these scholarships.  Pick-up an application in the Career Center or see the attachments.

Sutherlin Fraternal Order of Eagles

Seven $1,000 scholarships to graduating Douglas County seniors.  Selection based on academic achievement, leadership, and school and community activities.  See the application in the attachment.

OKHICHANYE Scholarship

Vietnam Veterans of America – Umpqua Chapter Vocational Scholarship

A $750 scholarship for a graduating high school senior that plans to pursue vocational or technical training, or an apprenticeship. Pick-up an application in the Career Center.

Bob Manning Memorial Softball Scholarship

A $500 scholarship to a graduating RHS softball participant.  Must have a 3.0 GPA.  Selection criteria include academic achievement, financial need, and overall contribution to the RHS softball (both athletic and team spirit considered).  Pick-up an application in the Career Center or see attachment.

The Russell Award

A $1,000 scholarship for a graduating Roseburg High School Senior who has played baseball.  Award can be used at any college or university.  Selection based on applicant’s attitude, loyalty, and dedication to the sport, academic achievement, and future goals.  Pick-up an application in the Career Center or see attachment.

SeniorCares Scholarship

A $1,500 scholarship for a graduating senior who currently cares for an aging loved one, works within the senior community, or plans to pursue a career in an area that will have an impact on the aging population.  For more information and to apply, go to:  https://www.seniorcare.com/scholarship/

Lariat Future Innovators Foundation

$30,000 scholarships for students are from small communities, have a household income of $55,000 or less, are highly motivated, and have a track record of excelling in projects or winning science/math awards. American Indian Graduate Center

American Indian Graduate Center provides up to $30,000 in scholarships per student per year and supports Native students pursuing undergraduate, graduate, and professional degrees in the United States.
