VFW –Voice of Democracy Competition
High school students in grades 9-12 are eligible to compete for local, state and national awards. Students compete by writing and then recording a three-to-five minute audio essay expressing their views of this year’s patriotic theme: America: Why is the Veteran important? University of Oregon Stamps Scholarship
Five scholarships for incoming freshmen will have their tuition, fees, and room and board paid for during all four years. Additionally, students will receive $12,000 in enrichment funds to spend at their discretion. Applicants must have a 3.85 GPA. Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Scholarship

Army ROTC Scholarships
The high school Four-Year Scholarship is for high school students planning on attending a four-year college program. Students can attend colleges like Oregon State, University of Oregon, University of Portland and others on ROTC scholarships. Coca-Cola Scholars
150 graduating seniors in the US will be awarded $20,000 scholarships and an additional 150 will be awarded $1,000 to $1,500 scholarships. Two $2,500 scholarships to students who are planning on pursuing post-secondary education in the automotive industry. Elks National Foundation Scholarships
