Parent Letter - Fall 2024


Dear Parents, Students, and RHS Families,

Parent teacher conferences – Wednesday, November 6th & Thursday, November 7th

RHS will be hosting traditional parent/teacher conferences with your child’s teachers. These will be held in-person at RHS 

  • Individual conferences will be scheduled in 15-minute intervals. Each 15-minute interval should allow for a 10-minute conference and 5 minutes to walk between your child’s classrooms.
  • These conferences are for information sharing and communication between families and teachers regarding your student’s current successes, needs and areas for growth.
  • Parents will schedule their own conferences online directly through their ParentVue account. This provides parents with as much flexibility as possible in coordinating appointments between different teachers, schools and other commitments.
  • To schedule conferences with your child’s counselor, please contact the Counseling Center directly at (541) 440-4131

  • The ParentVUE logo features a colorful circular design and text on a gray background.

    If you have not already activated your ParentVue account, please contact the counseling center to get your activation code.  Click the image above to access ParentVue.

    • If your account has been activated and you cannot remember your account password, you can recover this by going to the login screen, entering your login, and the clicking the “Forgot Password” button and following the instructions.
    • If you cannot remember your Login, please call the Counseling Center and they will assist you with this process. 

    • All parents will need to access their ParentVue account through a web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Explorer, Safari), not the ParentVue app on a smart device. 
    • Conference scheduling through ParentVue will open on October 21st and run through the end of conferences.  ParentVue scheduling has many advantages and provides real-time feedback and 24/7 access for you as the parent.  Specific details and instructions are included below.    If you have any questions, please call (541) 440-4131. 

    • Sign in to your ParentVue Account
    • Click on "Conferences" tab on the left side

    • On the next screen click "Parent Teacher Conferences" in the top right.

    • This will take you to the scheduling page.  Select your desired time for each teacher.  There are two dates, so you will see your student's teachers under each day.  Please make sure you select different times to avoid double booking yourself.

    • Last Step - After you select all of your times, click the "Email Schedule" button at the top of the screen.  This will send you a copy of your selected date/times.

    • You are finished now.  Conferences save automatically. You can log out and close your browser window.  To make changes, just log back in and select new times.
    • To cancel or reschedule: Click the times available slot for the conference you want to change/cancel and select a new time or the blank slot to cancel.
