Canceled- South Eugene Varsity Football Game 9/25/26

South Eugene High School has canceled their varsity football season, thus canceling our league match up with them on 9/25/26.  

The change affects Roseburg and the other teams scheduled to face South Eugene in league play this fall. With the Sept. 25 matchup no longer possible, RHS worked to find another opportunity for our student-athletes to compete and is pleased to have confirmed a home game against Putnam High School.

Roseburg will host Putnam at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 4, at Finlay Field. Sept. 4 was originally a bye week for Roseburg, allowing the game to be added without disrupting another scheduled matchup.

The Putnam game will be a non-league contest. The loss of the South Eugene game will not negatively affect Roseburg's postseason opportunities.

Season ticket holders may use their South Eugene ticket for admission to the Putnam game. No additional action is needed.

We appreciate Putnam High School for working with us to make this matchup possible and provide our student-athletes with another opportunity to compete at home.
