Dear Roseburg High School Alumni,
We are so very proud of our RHS graduates and alumni. In your years at RHS we are sure you made a difference on campus and in the community. Now, the Roseburg High School Booster Club is reaching out to alumni, asking you to help make a difference with our current Roseburg High School students.
The Roseburg High School Booster Club is a non-profit charitable organization with a mission to support the students, faculty and administration of Roseburg High School. Through fundraising, donations and other financial support, the Booster Club hashad a direct influence on the programs and activities to ensureRoseburg High School continues to grow its tradition of excellence.
Over the years, the Booster Club has funded projects including:
- Completing the Finlay Field Turf Project
- Athletic Injury Treatment Center supplies
- Automated External Defibrillator
- Band instruments and uniforms
- Athletic uniforms and safety gear
- Choir microphones and risers
- Science Department lab equipment
- Underwriting of Advanced Placement Test fees
- Cheerleader mats
- Step Up Class bicycles and maintenance
Through your financial assistance, our students benefit both on the field and in the classroom. In fact, by offsetting the cost of the advanced placement tests, RHS was recognized as one of 500 high schools in the State of Oregon on the AP Honor Roll. This recognition is for schools that both increase the number of students taking this very rigorous college exam but also has a significant number of students earning college credit.
Education and preparing our students for success after RHS has changed, requiring far more financial and scholarship support. Each year, the Booster Club gives out $25,000 in scholarships, special projects and financial aid. In 2015-16 we would like to increase that number to $50,000. We are asking you to help us reach this ambitious goal with a contribution to this effort. Please support your alma mater’s efforts in the growth of tomorrow’s citizens, professionals, caregivers and societal contributors.
