Roseburg Boys' Soccer Reflects on the 2025 Season
Hello, Roseburg High School. The soccer season has just ended, and a lot has happened. This season, there were some very thrilling games, such as the first game on August 28, 2025, which was an away game at Newberg High School. The game happened at 7:00 p.m. The very first game of the season was a tie of the season to the Final game of the season that happened at Roseburg High School The final game was against South Eugene High School. The game happened on October 22, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. We sadly lost the last game of the season, but we didn't go down without a fight. Ezekiel Lander said, “The soccer season could have gone better, but we all tried our best and left it all out on the field.” Lander also stated, “I think I could have put more time into improving my skills outside of practice.” He also shared, “I think that I did a very good job at playing my position and filling in when I was needed.” Lander thought, “We should have been closer as a team and always had a winning mindset.” Aaron Familio said, “I think the boys had a lot of fun this season, even though we didn't win many games, it was a good experience and we made many great memories on and off the field.” Familio thinks he could have improved his work ethic of his teammates this season. He also said his “leadership skills were pretty good when it came to games and practice and helping our coach.” Familio thought what could have improved the team’s teamwork this season was if they had worked as a team. Thanks again to Ezekiel Lander and Aaron Familio for letting us interview you. Boys’ soccer finished the season with e two ties with the opponents, ten losses, and two wins. Overall, the win-loss-tie ratio record for the season was 2-10-2. Good luck and we hope to do better next season
