Roseburg High School Foundation Scholarships

2-year college or program scholarship from the RHS FOUNDATION: $1000
(3.0 GPA or better, school/community/work activities)

4-year college or program scholarship from the RHS FOUNDATION and Class of '65 Scholarship: $1000-$2000 (3.5 GPA or better, school/community/work activities)
              Note: This is the base application for the additional scholarships listed below

*Forever RHS Indian Scholarship: $2000 (4-year application materials + essay about RHS)

*Beal Family Scholarship: $1500 (4-year application materials + involvement in RHS Athletic program, short essays, & rec letter from a coach)

*Ross Hansen Memorial Scholarship: $1500

(4-year application materials + applicant plans to pursue a music education degree 

and/or a career in music)

*Professional Management of Oregon LLC Scholarship: $1000 (4-year application materials + applicant plans to pursue a medical profession)

Roseburg High School Future First Citizen Scholarship.  There will be five scholarship awards.  The top award will be $10,000 and there will be four, $4,000 recipients.  It is important that applicants follow the directions in this application carefully and complete the application completely.  https://www.roseburghighschoolfoundation.org/scholarship-opportunities

Ford Family Scholarships

Ford Scholars – for students who face economic challenge. Award meets 90% of unmet need.  Sons & Daughters – dependent children or stepchildren of Roseburg Forest Products. $3,000 for students attending community college, $5,000 for students attending 4-year college.  For more information go to: TFFF Scholarship Link

Elissa Marie Bogardus Memorial Scholarship

A $500 scholarship for a Roseburg High School graduating female senior who will be attending Oregon State University.  Selection criteria include responses to short essay prompts, academic achievement, and letters of recommendation.  Pick-up an application in the Career Center

Application Deadline:  March 18, 2026 by 3:00 PM

 

The S&D High School Senior

$1,500 Scholarships will be awarded to two (2) Oregon High School Seniors (or equivalent) currently accepted to or planning to attend a college, university, trade school, or vocational school for the 2026-2027 academic year. The $1,500 scholarship(s) will be payable to the winner’s school of attendance:

Scholarship Opens: March 26, 2026

GPA: 3.0

Selection Criteria: Must be a US citizen, legal resident, or DACA recipient. You must have been accepted to, or will be enrolled for, the Fall 2026 semester. Open to any major.

American Muscle Student Scholarship

Two $2,500 scholarships to students who are planning on pursuing post-secondary education in the automotive industry.  Selection based on student drive and ambition that student is able to communicate in a 700 to 1500 words essay.  For more information go to:  American Muscle Scholarship Webpage

VFW –Voice of Democracy Competition

High school students in grades 9-12 are eligible to compete for local, state and national awards.  Students compete by writing and then recording a three-to-five minute audio essay expressing their views of this year’s patriotic theme: America: Why is the Veteran important?  For more information call go to:  VFW Youth Scholarship Webpage

University of Oregon Stamps Scholarship

Five scholarships for incoming freshmen will have their tuition, fees, and room and board paid for during all four years.  Additionally, students will receive $12,000 in enrichment funds to spend at their discretion.  Applicants must have a 3.85 GPA.  Applicants must complete University of Oregon application for admission and scholarship application by deadline date.  For more information go:  U of O Stamps Scholarship

Elks National Foundation Scholarships

500 4-year scholarships for graduating seniors who have demonstrated scholarship, leadership and financial need.  Selection for these awards begins at the local lodge level and continues to the district, state, and national level. For more information and to apply go to: Elks MVS Scholarship

National Security Language Initiative- (NSLI)

550 full scholarships for students to study abroad and learn a foreign language.  Study in countries like China, Egypt, India, Korea, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkey, and other countries around the world.  Previous language study is not required.  Must be a U.S. Citizen, have a 2.5 GPA, and 15-18 years old.  For more information go to NSLI for Youth Scholarship Webpage

Army ROTC Scholarships

The high school Four-Year Scholarship is for high school students planning on attending a four-year college program.  Students can attend colleges like Oregon State, University of Oregon, University of Portland and others on ROTC scholarships.   Once students finish their college degree, they agree to accept a commission and serve in the Army on Active Duty or in a Reserve Component. Coca-Cola Scholars

150 graduating seniors in the US will be awarded $20,000 scholarships and an additional 150 will be awarded $1,000 to $1,500 scholarships. Students must be EXTENSIVELY involved in school and community activities and have an exceptional academic record.  Applications must be submitted online at Coca-Cola Scholarship Webpage
